How to use GEXmon

A plain-English walkthrough that takes you from “never heard of gamma exposure” to confidently reading the dashboard in a live session — no options math, no jargon dumps. Each part teaches one concept through the exact panel you’ll be looking at.

New here? Read Parts 0–2 in order, then jump to the 60-second read in Part 9. That’s the fastest path from zero to a usable routine. Parts 3–8 can be read on their own, in any order. And if you’ve never traded options, start with our complete options trading guide — calls, puts, the Greeks and gamma exposure from scratch.

0Start here: what GEXmon is (and isn't)The one-screen tour and the single rule that governs everything: GEXmon is a weather report for the session, not a trade caller.Part 0 · 5 min read1The 5-minute options primerOnly the machinery you need: dealers hedge, gamma is how fast they must re-hedge, and near expiry that hedging gets violent — which is why 0DTE dominates the intraday tape.Part 1 · 6 min read2The Regime panel: positive, negative, neutralThe single most important read of the session — are dealer flows dampening moves, amplifying them, or is there no edge? Includes the inverted myth, corrected.Part 2 · 7 min read3Zero gamma: the boundary lineThe price where dealer positioning flips sign — the battle line of the session. Above it, moves get suppressed; below it, amplified. Chop right on it has no edge, by design.Part 3 · 5 min read4Gamma walls: call walls (resistance) & put walls (support)Strikes where hedging concentrates — ranked in dollars, with distance from spot, a Volume/OI toggle, and a CONFLUENT tag. How to validate a level in four steps, and why levels flip roles.Part 4 · 8 min read5Flow: where gamma is building right nowThe live layer — fresh positioning across 1–30 minute windows, distilled to one bias: UP, DOWN, or PIN. Walls are structure; flow is what's changing.Part 5 · 6 min read60DTE vs Full: choosing your lensTwo views of the same market: same-day expiry (0DTE) for the violent intraday read, or all expiries (Full) for the structural picture. And why your 0DTE levels keep moving — that's the point.Part 6 · 6 min read7The Playbook & Warnings: the deterministic readThe rules engine's summary — Bias / Favor / Avoid / Targets / Sizing — plus explicit skip triggers. Read it last, treat sizing as a throttle, and respect the skips.Part 7 · 7 min read8The AI Desk Note: one line that mattersAn on-demand, single-sentence read of what matters now and what changed since your last look. It describes the rule engine's state — it never invents a level or a signal.Part 8 · 4 min read9Putting it together: a session workflowThe capstone. A repeatable routine, the canonical 60-second read, three worked scenarios, and what actually warrants a re-check versus noise.Part 9 · 8 min read10Expectations, limitations & FAQWhat GEXmon will never do, how the data behaves outside market hours, and direct answers to the questions traders actually ask.Part 10 · 8 min read11GlossaryOne-line definitions of every term used in the guide, linked from every part.Part 11 · 4 min read
The one rule that governs all of it

GEXmon is a weather report for the session, not a trade caller. It shows you where options-market pressure sits and how the day is likely to behave — context. It never tells you what to buy, when to enter, or which way price will go. Rules decide, AI describes; entries come from your own method. Keep that framing and everything below works the way it’s meant to.
